At Saugeen Shores Community Church, it's our desire as a congregation to be an enjoyable, life-giving community, where people walk with each other and help each other on God's plan for their lives. 

In our busy lives, the challenge of developing and maintaining a sense of connectedness and community may seem beyond reach!

Our conviction is that when we join in life's journey with each other in intentional ways, we will start to see a church that really makes a positive difference.

OUR DNA

 

We believe in FAMILY. 

God designed the family, and while we each belong to a physical family,

we are a CHURCH FAMILY as well.

Family is about relationships, growth, learning, passing on values and beliefs.

Building on a solid foundation is key.

At Saugeen Shores Community Church, we are about FAMILY FOUNDATIONS.

Our foundation in Christ and on His Word means that God is central to who we are.  

And because of that, we desire to grow in faith, and share His love with others in tangible ways.

Emphasizing and connecting with our mission statement to "Restore, Rebuild, and Renovate" lives ...

Family Foundations serves to provide spiritual instruction, tangible outreach, and social opportunities across all ages!

We are a church that seeks to be a loving, courageous community committed to Jesus Christ and to His mission of liberating and restoring people.   

We have a passion to reach people who have given up on church, on family and on life, and to restore hope, meaning and purpose to their lives.  

We accomplish this through intentional, grace-filled relationships, the Word of God and ministry through the Holy Spirit.

WE ARE AN ISAIAH 58 CHURCH

 

 

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:to loose chains of injustice 

and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness[a] will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

 

If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land 

and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruin and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
